EDLYNN DEBORAH NAU:  

Trying to change my name on my profile to Edlynn Deborah Nau. From the age of 12 until now I have gone by my middle name, Edlynn. This wasnt a problem as long as I lived in California and before 911. After my husband's death in 1993(Dr. Edward Dietiker), I didnt have any name problems either b/c I always have kept my maiden name to honor my father whom ended up in "The House of Estrogen" (all daughters) and no sons to carry his name! I loved "three letters no waiting" and kept Nau. However, starting at John Muir Jr. High, my algebra class had 7 Debbie's, Deborah's, Debby's, Debra's. Also, our Spanish class with Mr. Torres (English,Mr. Towers) had five Debs(Hello Debbie JTrying to change my name on my profile to Edlynn Deborah Nau. I remarried after being a widow for 13 years to Dr. Bruce Cochran. He got a position in La Push, Wa. and we moved to Port Angeles, WA. We've lived here 7 years before getting a court order to switch my name from Deborah Edlynn Nau to Edlynn Deborah Nau(and so as of 2010 there isnt a Deborah Nau, I am leagally Edlynn Nau (Cochran)! Up date, my daughter (Cameron Dietiker) graduated from New York Medical College (NYMC) May 24, 2011. She became engaged to be married to Brian Lee Resler. The date for their wedding is set Sept. 9, 2012 in CT. Brian also graduated from NYMC in May. They are boh working on their residency at UCSF. Yeah! Back on the West Coast (sure hope they stay). Cameron would like to specialize in Neurology and become a Neurologist. Brian is interested in Emergency Medicine. Bruce is busy teaching High School for Native Americans during the day and teaching at both Port Angeles&Forks City Colleges during the night. I am retired from teaching 4,5,6th grades, 15 years of ballet (16 classes a week plus choreography) and also from doing research for Kern Count Mental Health. Im enjoying gardening, home decorating, scrapbooking, taking my own ballet classes,painting watercolor landscapes, working on our house(needed lots of attention in that the people in their 80's purchased it in the early 70's and didnt do one thing to it). Bruce and I now live in this money pit. So far, the following tasks have been done by us to the house with an awsome view of the Pacific Ocean: new roof, plantation wood shutters, all new heating and cooling system, all new internal doors, built a Utility room, and three closets for storeage, and a walk-in storeage room, there wasn't even one medicine cabinet in its three bathrooms;it only had one hall closet,and besides a closet in each of three bedrooms for clothes, it had no place for lenins, towels, blankets, seasonal clothing, party and holdiday supplies, holiday decorations,you name it,it hasnt a closet for it. Bruce has been busy rebuilding the house from the inside out. That kind of it on us now. Bruce's daughter got married for the first time this month (civil service marriage with a cermony later when her Mom returns from South America). Erin is 40 and I dont think Bruce ever thought she'd get married. Cameron is 27 so this will be the big white wedding and we are trying to plan for that. We look forward to our trip this May new attend Cameron's graduation from medical school and to see the city. Neither Bruce or my self have been to New York thought we have both been to many countries and other states. So this should be an experience. We look forward to grandchildren. We think we will see the first of these Drape Apes from Erin who has waited so long to get married and start her family. We ...Expand for more
